What We Do NOT Collect
Voice Biometrics: We do not create or store voice fingerprints or biometric profiles.
Model Training Data: We do not use your uploads to train our AI models. Your voice samples are used only to generate your requested output.

- Provide the Service: Process your voice cloning requests and generate audio
- Manage Your Account: Create, maintain, and secure your account
- Process Payments: Handle credit purchases and maintain transaction records

4. Data Storage & Security
4.1 Where We Store Your Data
Your data is stored using the following services:
- Supabase: Account information, credit balances, generation history (hosted on AWS)
- Stripe: Payment information (PCI-DSS compliant)
- Our Servers: Uploaded audio files and generated audio (temporarily)
4.2 Security Measures
We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- HTTPS encryption for all data transmission
- Password hashing (we never store plain-text passwords)
- Secure session management with HTTP-only cookies
- Rate limiting to prevent abuse
- Row Level Security (RLS) on database tables
- Regular security updates
While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Retention

- Safety: To protect the rights, property, or safety of Saybird, our users, or others
- Business Transfer: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (you would be notified)
- With Your Consent: For any other purpose with your explicit consent

9.1 Access & Portability
You can view your account information, generation history, and saved voices through your account dashboard. To request a full export of your data, contact us at hello@saybird.io.
9.2 Correction
You can update your email address through your account settings. For other corrections, contact us.
9.3 Deletion
You can:
- Delete individual voice profiles at any time
- Delete your entire account by contacting us
When you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except for data we're required to retain for legal purposes (like transaction records).
9.4 Opt-Out
You can opt out of non-essential communications by clicking "unsubscribe" in any email or contacting us.
9.5 For EU/UK Users (GDPR)
If you're in the EU or UK, you also have the right to:
- Object to processing of your data
- Restrict processing of your data
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
Our legal basis for processing is: (a) performance of contract (providing the Service), (b) legitimate interests (security, improving the Service), and (c) your consent (where applicable).
9.6 For California Users (CCPA)
California residents have the right to:

- Request deletion of your information
